What is the best thing to do when it is stormy outside and you have 2 little kids who want to be on the move? Have a dance party of course! On Saturday the weather was full of thunderstorms. Luckily we did not have any tornados in Waukee but some surrounding areas did. Uncle Jeff and Aunt Lina were over and Grandma Pat was here. So we decided to crank up the music and have a little dance party in the living room. Mom’s choice was of course Justin Bieber, but Hudsen wanted something different. We all agreed 90’s music. There were plenty of high kicks, lots of Hudsen shaking his booty and Eleanor bobbing her head (she LOVES music). I love it when we have an impromptu dance party :)
Today is my first day going part time at CWG. My new hours are 7-12. I am SO excited and I hope the kids are too. Hudsen is still at home today with Grandma Pat for the morning. Tomorrow hopefully he can go back to school. He is doing fantastic after getting his tonsils out. The nights are still a little rough, but he did make it til 2 last night before he woke up. That is much better than midnight. Today is day 6 after the surgery and they say it takes about 10 days to get back to normal so we are on the down hill stretch!
