On April 21st Eleanor turned 2! It is hard to believe that just 2 years ago this little girl entered our lives. At 3:02 pm the doctor said "It's a girl" and instantly I saw a protective look in Dad's eyes. He has continued to have that look everytime he is around his little girl.
We celebrated Eleanor's birthday on Saturday. Below are pictures from the day.
Time to open presents! She is going to be one of the best dressed girls and day care.
Blowing out the candle with a little help from Dad.

It was nice enough outside to play a little game of wiffle ball. Eleanor had on her birthday skirt, snow boots and a sticker on her forehead...pretty classy :)
We love you Eleanor Faith and you continue to amaze us everyday and make us smile! You are special little girl who has so many people who love you.
For Easter this year we made it back to Grandpa and Grandma Swansons. There are always so many adventures to do on the farm and it makes for some fun days. Grandpa had put together a treasure hunt for Hudsen to go on. It ended at the creek with a treasure chest. Then we went and saw the trees that the beaver and chewed down. This was while Eleanor was napping. When E woke up we did the Easter Egg hunt. The kids loved it and even managed to find a few snakes too....YUCK! The Easter bunny had brought the kids a bunch of fun stuff in their baskets that included clothes, candy, and a Jake and NeverLand Pirates DVD.
The next morning we woke up for sunrise service. Hudsen had a few questions (as he always does) about the service so we just try to answer them the best we know how. The kids may not truely understand the meaning of Easter right now but we will continue to help them to know the meaning of God's love. After the service we had breakfast and then went to South Walnut Church for a few pictures in our Easter outfits. We then went into my uncle and aunt's house Mike and LeAnn for lunch and then headed on our way home. It was a very fun weekend!
