Weekend Update

We started off the weekend on a slow note but it sure did pick up! Hudsen was SO tired. He fell asleep on the floor at 4:30 in the afternoon and would not wake up. Finally all that hard playing he was doing really caught up with him. We put him to bed at 6:30 and he did not wake up til 5 am Saturday morning! E was in bed at 6:45 on Friday night so Jarren and I had a nice relaxing night at home of watching movies. It was kind of nice.

Saturday both kids were up pretty early so we decided to go on a family walk to the park. It was a great morning for it and both kids like to ride in the wagon and go to the park. Charley even was able to go along. Then on Saturday night the kids went to Amy and Lance’s and Jarren and I went to Copper Creek where my friend Nicole was going to be proposed to. Her fiance did an awesome job and it was great to be there and be a part of it! Jarren and I then went on date afterwards just the two of us. That was awesome! We love the kids, but having time with just the two of us to laugh and talk is so much fun. The kids had a great time at Amy and Lance’s too playing with the boys.

Sunday was church, playing catch for Hudsen and Jarren, and Hudsen’s flag football. Hudsen got his first baseball glove this weekend and he was very pumped about it. I’m sure there will be plenty of baseball in the back yard this summer. This was also the last weekend for flag football for Hudsen. The season started off a little rough but then he really got into it by the end and was having so much fun! The parents even commented on how he seemed like a new kid out there. Now he is doing soccer on Tuesday mornings and then in June he will do blast ball with Jarren. I was even able to fit in a 7 mile run this Sunday. Dam to dam is just 2 weeks away!

Weekends like these are full of such great memories and fun times. We have so many blessings in our lives and so much to be thankful to God for!
